I got an email that says my mailbox is full

If you have received a message sent to your Gwinnett Tech student email account that look like the picture below you can ignore it.

Your mailbox is not full.

Read the message you received carefully.

If you see the email address ActiveStudents@student.gwinnetttech.edu then the message is not a warning about your student email address, it is related to the active students mailbox.

Your mailbox is not in danger of filling up. You can ignore this message.

No action on your part is required. No changes to your mailbox are needed.

The team that looks after issues like this is aware of it and is working on a fix for it.

The messages should stop shortly but if you receive any more of them you can delete them.

To check the storage on your mailbox follow these instructions:

  1. Log in to the student dashboard page.
    Go to https://gwinnetttech.edu/dashboard/ and click on the log in button.
  2. Click the blue Outlook icon once you are logged in to the student dashboard.
  3. At the top of the Outlook webmail page, select Settings 547a78b7-974b-45f0-ab00-207afd954f27.png > View all Outlook settings.
  4. Select General > Storage.
    From the Settings > Storage page you should see a breakdown of how much space your mailbox is using.
