Fall 2025 class registration, Summer classes displaying in search

Some student have reported finding only Summer classes displaying when trying to register for Fall 2025

On Tuesday, April 1, the Banner system was updated!

Students using the old banner system after the update will encounter errors.

There are still some links out there to the old banner system. We are updating and removing these links as we find them.

Make sure to only use the new banner system.


Make sure to click the New Banner Dashboard

Look for the Ellucian Experience (Banner) icon for the new banner dashboard

Use the TCSG log in prompt

You will see a TCSG sign in prompt. Enter your Student email address and click Next

Once you click next you will be taken to the New Banner Dashboard.

The new Banner Dashboard has all the same functions as the old banner with a new layout and some extra features.

Banner Cards

To make things easy to find links are divided into Cards. Take a look around at the new Cards to find what you need.

Banner Registration & Fees

Under the Banner Registration & Fees card, select Register for classes

This will take you to the Registration menu. Select Register for Classes

Select the appropriate Term, and click Continue.

Search for classes

Select the Find Class tab, then enter the subject in the Subject field. You can also search by course number. For example: if you are looking for ENGL 1101, you will type English under subject and 1101 under course number.


Click the Search button. A list of courses for that subject will be displayed.

To Register, choose the desired course by clicking the Add button to the right of the Search Results window.

Under the Summary window, you will see the course as Pending. Click the gray Submit button to register for the course

Once the class has been added, it will show as Registered under the Status column in your Summary window.
