Other Troubleshooting steps
Windows may sometimes automatically log you in to Office 365 with another email address when it is first installed. Check to see if this has happened.
If you are signed in with another email besides your Gwinnett Tech student email account you may run into a license issue. Sign out of the other email address so you can sign in with your Gwinnett Tech student email account.
The version of Office 365 available to active students includes:
“In an effort to provide the most optimized experience for Chromebook customers, Microsoft apps (Office and Outlook) will be transitioned to web experiences (Office.com and Outlook.com) on September 18, 2021,”
The web version of Office app is available through the Gwinnett Tech dashboard but there is no longer downloadable app. Microsoft says Instead of an app that is downloaded, Microsoft is encouraging users to go to the web instead.
