How do I check my student email? / Setup student email

Check your email often

It is a good idea to check your Gwinnett Tech student email often as this is the primary way the school will communicate with you. You will get messages from your instructors, fellow students in your classes, as well as various departments here at the school.

Log in to the Dashboard

To check your student email, first log in to the student dashboard page.

If you need a password reset follow these instructions I forgot my password, I need a password reset

Go to https://gwinnetttech.edu/dashboard/ and click on the log in button.

Then click the Outlook button

You can also follow these instructions to install Microsoft office on your machine, which includes Outlook.

Microsoft Office 365 is free for all Gwinnett Tech students!

Email on a mobile device

To check your email on a mobile device you must download the Microsoft Outlook app on your device.

Gwinnett Tech uses Microsoft modern authentication, it is not compatible with the native mail app on iOS or Android devices.

You will not be able to add your student email account to gmail or other webmail apps to check it.

You must use the Microsoft Outlook app or go to the Gwinnett Tech webmail link on the student dashboard page.
