hold on your account to have it removed.

A hold can be placed on your account for a wide variety of reasons by various departments at the school. The reasons for a hold could include, but are not limited to, missing transcripts, expired identification, outstanding balances, and many other reasons.
The hold must be resolved before you can register for classes or perform several other functions on the Banner Dashboard. You will need to contact the department that placed the hold to find out how to remove it.

View Holds
To view holds on your account you will first need to log in on the Gwinnett Tech student dashboard with your Gwinnett Tech student email and password.
Go to - https://gwinnetttech.edu/dashboard/ and click on the log in button.
Click the Ellucian Experience Icon to go to the Banner Dashboard
Banner Registration & Fees card
Look for the Banner Registration & Fees card on your Banner Dashboard
Holds can be viewed under several of the options from the Banner Registration & Fees card. Look under Check Registration Status, your holds should be listed there.
Where else can I see a hold?
Holds can also be seen under the Account Detail for Term, Statement and Payment History

Contact the department who placed the hold
Once you have viewed the hold on your account, it should list the department that placed the hold and how to resolve the hold. Contact the department who placed the hold for questions about the hold. Use the phone directory to find phone numbers and email addresses if you wish to contact the department that placed the hold.
