New students can find their Gwinnett Tech student ID number and student dashboard log in credentials on the Application and Acceptance Portal.

Wait until you've been accepted to log in to the dashboard
When a student applies to the college, a Gwinnett Tech student ID number and Gwinnett Tech student email address is generated for them. Students may be asked for their Gwinnett Tech student ID number if they have to take the Accuplacer test or fill out certain forms such as for Dual Enrollment.
Students should wait until they have been accepted to the college before logging in to the dashboard page.

Getting a student ID number does not mean you have been accepted to the college.

Check your application status
Click on the links in the Application and Acceptance Portal to check your application status.

What if my information is blank?
If your Student ID number and your Student email address are not listed on the Application and Acceptance Portal, it means they have not been created yet.
You can try refreshing the page or logging out and logging back in. The information should appear shortly after you fill out your application but it can sometimes take a few hours to appear.
You will not be able to log in to the student dashboard if there is not student email address listed on this page.
You will need to wait until you see a student ID number and student email address listed here.
It can take up to 24 hours for this information to appear.
Students should wait until they have been accepted to the college before logging in to the dashboard page.

Log in to the Application and Acceptance Portal

Log in with your personal email address and the password you created.
To reset your password for this log in, use the Forgot Password link next to the sign in button on the application page.
An email will be sent to you with a link to reset your password.
If you do not receive the email, check your junk mail, or spam folder.
If you cannot find the self-service password reset email, please Contact Student Recruitment.

The Student Recruitment Office will also send students a welcome letter containing this information to your personal e-mail 24 to 48 hours after being accepted to the college.
You may need to check your spam or junk mail folder.

After acceptance, try logging in to the dashboard page
Once you have been accepted to the college, try logging in on the Student Dashboard page.
Go to https://gwinnetttech.edu/dashboard/ and click on the log in button.
