Blackboard Sign On Error

Your online course will not be accessible in Blackboard until the first day of class.

Check your Class Schedule for the start and end date of your course.


Blackboard Sign On instructions

To sign in to blackboard, first sign in to the dashboard page with your Gwinnett Tech student email address.

Go to https://gwinnetttech.edu/dashboard/ and click on the log in button.

If you are having trouble signing in to the dashboard page please contact us for a password reset

Click the blackboard icon

Once you have signed in to the student dashboard page, click the blackboard icon.

Logging in through a saved bookmark or an older link may cause sign on errors.

Blackboard Sign On Error

Your online course will not be accessible in Blackboard until the first day of class.

Check your Class Schedule for the start and end date of your course.

Classes should show up right away but it can take up to 24 hours for them to become active.

If you are a new student, or it is in between semesters, you may get a sign on error when clicking on the blackboard link.

Steps to get your Class Schedule

You can obtain a copy of your schedule by first logging in to the GTC student dashboard with your student email and password.

Click on the Select Ellucian Experience (Banner) link from the dashboard once you are logged in

You’ll need to re-enter your Gwinnett Tech student email address on the TCSG login

Look for the My Classes card

The start and end date of your course will be displayed on your My Classes card, as well as:

  • Course name
  • meeting times
  • meeting location

Click the card to view more details.
