If you wish to contact your instructor you can find their email address on your schedule.

Check your schedule

First follow these instructions to find your schedule.

  1. log in to the Gwinnett Tech Student Dashboard page with your Gwinnett Tech student email address and password
    https://www.gwinnetttech.edu/dashboard/
  2. Select Ellucian Experience (Banner)
  3. You’ll need to re-enter your Gwinnett Tech student email address on the TCSG login
  4. Look for the My Classes card

Details about your course will be displayed here including:

  • Course name
  • meeting times
  • meeting location
  • and the course start and end date

Look for the envelope icon to the right of your instructor’s name.

You can right click on the envelope icon and select copy email.

You can then paste the address on the “To:” line in your student email.

Use Outlook to send a message

Your student email can be found under the blue Outlook icon on the student dashboard page.

Be sure to include your student ID number and the CRN number for your class. That information can also be found on your schedule.

When should I expect a reply?

When contacting your instructor by email, please allow 24 to 48 hours for a reply. They may reply sooner, but it can sometimes take that long. Plan accordingly, do not wait until the last minute to send them a message.

What if they don't reply?

If, after waiting 24 to 48 hours, you are not getting a reply from your instructor, you may wish to reach out to them using any alternate contact information found on the Blackboard page for that course or in the course syllabus.

Who else can help?

If, after waiting 24 to 48 hours, you are not getting a reply from your instructor, students can also contact the Program Director or Dean over that division. This information can be found in the Gwinnett Tech Student Catalog or in the Faculty & Staff Directory

Students may also wish to reach out to their enrollment advisor for assistance. Their contact information can be found on the Advisement Services page, enrollment advisors are listed by program of study.

Students can also reach out to Academic Affairs for help as well 678-226-6301
