Gwinnett Technical college students receive lots of important information sent to their student email address.
Many different departments at the school communicate with Gwinnett Technical college students through their Gwinnett Technical college student email address.
With the exception of the recruitment department before students have been accepted, Gwinnett Technical college does not communicate with students through their personal email address.
I am not a student, Why am I getting all these emails?
If you are a former student and you find you are getting a lot of Gwinnett Tech information sent to your personal email address, this is likely because when you were a student you set your Student email address to forward to your personal email address.
Don't forward your student email to your personal email.
If you chose to forward your Gwinnett Tech student email to your personal email while you are a student, you will continue to receive all those newsletters and informational emails sent to Gwinnett Tech Student emails, even after you are no longer a student.
That is why we do not recommend choosing to forward your student email to your personal email.
How do I stop getting emails?
If you are able to log in to your student email, you can change these settings yourself, if not, please contact Student Tech Support and we can assist you.

If you do not have access to your student email account, and you do not wish to log back into your student email account, Student Tech Support can make that change for you.
In order to make changes to your account we will need know the following information so we can look you up and verify your ID.
- Full Name
- Student ID (if known)
- Date of birth
If you do not know your student ID number, then we will also need some additional information.
