Use the Download link in your Blackboard course
In order for LockDown browser to work properly with Gwinnett Tech classes it should only be downloaded and installed from the link found in your Blackboard course or on the page link above, unless otherwise specified by your instructor.
Once Installed, click the test link from your regular browser to open LockDown Browser
Only use a supported browser
After the Blackboard Ultra update of Spring semester, Lockdown Browser can only be opened from Google Chrome Browser or Firefox.
Lockdown browser links will fail if opened from Safari, Microsoft Edge, or other browsers.
Only use a supported device
After the Blackboard Ultra update of Spring semester, LockDown Browser does not work with Chrome books or other mobile devices such as phones, tablets, or iPads. (unless specified by your instructor)
Ask your instructor
There is another version of Lockdown Browser required for some classes. Your instructor will provide you with a download link and instructions if this is required for a class you are taking. Be sure to read the in formation in your Blackboard course page information about Lockdown Browser
